Canada Hong Kong Alliance Association also known as “ Canada Hong Kong Alliance “ and “ CANHK “ was established by two Hong Kong Canadians along with a Canadian native.
Although we have our own religious beliefs, we all share the same values of community support, mutual respect, human rights, individual freedom and a passion for the relief against poverty.
Through sharing and support, we want to assist our Hong Kong friends who are planning to study, work, or immigrate to Canada and those who are preparing to return to Canada to ensure they can smoothly and successfully integrated into mainstream Canadian society.
Our common goal is to work with people who values the Canadian society and want to help relieve poverty for new immigrant, return residents, international students, temporary workers and local families who are in trouble and need assistance.
From preparation, registration to operation, we insist on not discussing or getting involved in politics.

Hong Kong
We have held several sharing sessions at the Hong Kong City Hall. With the assistance of our many Canadian connections, we shared with more than 800 Hong Kong friends who have close ties to Canada.
Our volunteers have provided counseling for several students who were about to study in Canada and established a circle of friends for them in Canada. Our volunteers also provided professional psychological counseling to several Hong Kong families who were troubled by the need to return to Canada.
All of our volunteers who provide counselling for students are Canadian citizens graduated from Canadian universities and have had many years of tutoring and student counselling experience. Volunteers who provide psychological counseling are also certified psychologists with professional qualifications.
Canada
In Canada, we have provided free airport pick-up and transportation services for several students and families who have just arrived and have no support from local relatives or friends. We assisted them to establish an extensive social network in Canada. We have also assisted them to solve arising issues that they encountered including housing and transportation issues.
Our volunteers have provided emergency support to two students who had to study and live in Canada alone. Our volunteers also assisted the students’ overseas parents to visit Canada during Covid to meet their children along with medical and psychological counseling.
We have produced 17 interview videos, inviting Canadian professionals in accounting, auditing, education, youth counseling, finance, real estate, insurance, media, tourism, funeral, catering, engineering, and construction. Our guest speakers introduced Canadian values and encouraged everyone to perform civic responsibilities while enjoying the freedom, high-quality education and living standard in Canada.
We also support a program called Culture Tastic – Indigenous Cuisine, a charity event organized by Everythinggoesvirtual.com through donations and actions, encouraging families to learn about the culinary art and culture of Canadian Aboriginal people.
The coming year will be our "Year of Action".
